The connecting rod bearing includes the upper and lower bearings, which are installed at the connection between connecting rod and crankshaft and play a role in wear resistance, connection, support, and transmission. During the assembly of connecting rod bearing, the marks on the top and bottom should be correct, the direction of bearing opening should not be opposite, and the screws need to reach corresponding torque.
The bearing opening of connecting rod is on the left when viewed from the front, which is related to direction of crankshaft rotation and position of oil passage. The notch of connecting rod bearing should face the oil pump, while the direction of piston arrow and connecting rod surface with the words facing the timing gear. The opening refers to the groove on connecting rod bearing, which is used to fix it. You should prevent reverse installation, prevent the bearing from rotating in the middle of connecting rod hole, and avoid damage of the bearing.
