In the cylinder block of a engine, there are multiple water channels for cooling water circulation, which are connected to the radiator (commonly known as the water tank) located in the front of vehicle through water pipes, forming a large water circulation system. At the upper water outlet of engine, there is a water pump that is driven by a fan belt to pump out the hot water in the channel of cylinder block and pump in the cold water. There is also a thermostat next to the water pump, which does not open when the vehicle is just started (cold), so that the cooling water does not pass through the water tank. It opens only during the internal circulation of engine and the temperature reaches 95 degrees or above, then the hot water inside engine is pumped into the water tank, and the cold air blowing through water tank and taking away the heat while the vehicle is moving forward.
