The gear fuel pump is equipped with a pair of rotating gears in the pump body, one active gear and one passive. The whole working chamber in the pump is divided into two independent parts owing to the intermesh of the two gears. It's an important part to raise the low-pressure fuel in the tank to high-pressure that can do work through the rolling engagement of the involute gear with the same parameters and structure.
The gear fuel pump is characterized by compact structure, convenient use and maintenance, and good self-priming, so it’s unnecessary to inject liquid before starting it every time. The lubrication of gear fuel pump is achieved automatically by the liquid delivered, so it doesn't need additional lubricating oil during daily work.
