Tensioning wheel, also known as tensioner, is a belt tensioning device used in automotive transmission systems. The tensioner is divided into accessory tensioner pulley (generator, air conditioner and mechanical supercharger belt tensioners, etc.) and timing belt tensioner pulley according to the occurring parts. On the basis of tensioning method, it's divided into mechanical automatic and hydraulic automatic tensioners.
The tensioner mainly consists of a fixed shell, tensioning arm, wheel body, torsion spring, rolling bearing, and spring sleeve.
